Understanding ILO

ILO is a support package — not the house itself.

Your living arrangement and support network are designed around your choices, needs and goals.

Individualised Living Options can help you decide where you live, who you live with and how you want to be supported at home.

An ILO may include a host or housemate arrangement, supplementary supports and help from people you trust.

Housing costs remain separate ILO funding supports the approved arrangement. It does not pay rent, mortgage, groceries, utilities or other ordinary living expenses.

What ILO can include

Support designed around life at home.

The exact mix depends on your approved service proposal, living arrangement and support needs.
